She departed this earthly life on May 26, 2018. Annie Ruth was a proud member of Emmanuel Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Samuel McLendon and Rev. O. B. Cook where she severed as an usher and sang in the senior choir. She remained an active member until her health decline. Her biggest passion in life was God, family, and friends. He was the oldest of five children. J.R. departed this life on May 5, 2018 at the Hinkle Hospice Center of Davidson County. J.R. was educated in the Newberry School System.
