The Journey

A Time to Be Born:

Mr. Lacy Gause, a precious gift from God, was born on May 7, 1945 in Marion, South Carolina to the late Willie Gause and Maggie Herman Gause.

A Time to Learn:

Lacy was educated in Marion County and employed by Thomasville Church Homes Apartments as a maintenance worker, until he earned his own business.

A Time to Worship and Serve:

In his earlier years he was a member of Bethel AME Church. He later moved his membership to Living Water Baptist Church. Lacy was married to Beulah Ann McCall Gause and to their union they were blessed with two children: Joseph Lacy Gause and Willie David Gause both of the home, one daughter Cilera McCall of Marion, South Carolina, one grand daughter, Brielle Ciera Bluefort.

A Time to Die:

While surrounded by family and friends, Lacy entered into eternal life on Saturday, April 16, 2016.

A Time to Remember:

Lacy was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister: Willie Gause, Graham Gause, and Arthur Jerone Gause and Katherine Gause.

A Time to Mourn:

Survivors includes his wife: Beulah A. Gause, two sons Joseph Lacy Gause and Willie David Gause both of the home, one daughter Cilere McCall of Marion, South Carolina, one granddaughter Brielle Ceira Bluefort, three brothers Clyde Gause of Marion, South Carolina, Fred (Mary) Gause of Columbia, South Carolina, and Dennis (Linda) Gause of Thomasville, North Carolina, four sisters, Virginia (Herman) McClellan, Juanita Darby and Shirley Emmanuel all of Marion, South Carolina, Rosa (Allen) Morris of Trenton, New Jersey, two brothers-in-laws, John McCall and Cleo Moody of Marion, South Carolina and one sister-in-law, Betty Moody of Marion, South Carolina, two close friends, Wanda Phillips and Barbara Carter, and many dear nieces, nephews and friends.
