Friends will always remember all the words of inspirations , and his unique sayings: “Once a man, twice a child”, “at ease” meaning to relax and enjoy the moment, and “dismissed” meaning this conversation is over and you can leave now!” Let’s not forget his dancing would always dominate the dance floors.

Leonard was proceed in death by his parents: Carl Hairston (2002) and Dorothy Jean Graves (2002), his brother: Clarence “Harpo” Hairston ( 2008), his sister Doris Jean Hampton-Jackson ( 2010), and a nephew Samuel Carlos Hairston (2014).

I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course,

I have kept the faith.
