The Life of Millie E. Duncan
The earthly life of Millie Elizabeth Duncan came to a peaceful close on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at Transitional Health Service in Kannapolis, NC.
Millie was born on February 6, 1933 in Cabarrus County, North Carolina, the daughter of the late Charlie, Sr. and Mary Bost.
Family and friends will fondly remember Millie as the Mother of the Church and her willingness to serve others. Planted in her faith Mother Millie was a member of True Deliverance Apostolic Church, where she was a member of the Usher Board. She will truly be missed by her beloved Pastor Bishop Donald and Mother Susan Hall, and her church family.
Her career path consisted of Davidson Laundry, and Thomasville Furniture Industries-Plant D.
She was proceeded in death by her parents, husband; Jerry Duncan, two sons; Larry and Michael Bost, six sisters; Nina Kirkpatrick, Margaret Caldwell, Onnie Lee Hickerson, Geneva Phifer, and Mary and Nellie Bost, two brothers; James and William Bost.
Though her physical presence is no longer with us, we are yet strengthened by her spiritual presence. Survivors who will cherish the memory of our beloved includes: her three brothers, Ray Bost, Charles Bost, Jr. (Edith) and Richard Bost (Wynonna), all of Concord, NC; one grandson, Brittiny Brown (Rebecca) of Lexington, NC; four great grandchildren, Jaheim Brown, Julian Brown, Dominic Brown and Cameron Brown, all of Lexington, NC; a special nephew, Michael Lynch and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
