The Obituary
On December 23, 1949, God released an angel named Malissa Mae Conyers Mashore to begin her earthly journey. She was born to the late Silas and Carrie Conyers in Sumter, South Carolina. To enhance heaven God quietly called Malissa home on Wednesday, June 20, 2018.
Malissa graduated in 1969 from Manchester High School in Sumter, South Carolina. Malissa and her husband, Levi Mashore, Jr. moved to Thomasville, NC. To this union of 48 years of marriage, four children were born, Tinisha, Trevoya, Reginald, and Christel.
Planted in her faith, Malissa was a member of Freewill United Methodist Episcopal Church, where she served diligently as president of the Missionary Board, Stewardess Board, Sunday School secretary, Secretary of the Adult choir, Probation Leader, kitchen committee and a member of Sister Helping Sister group. When Malissa was not working in the church her hobbies were decorating with flowers, sewing, and reading her bible. Everyone could contest serving was her greatest passion!
