On Thursday, July 18, 2019, at approximately 9:06 a.m. Heaven’s gate gently swung open, and the Master called softly, “Shelia Come Home!”. Following six months of declining health Shelia triumphantly exchanged her earthly life for life eternal while surrounded by family. She was blessed with 55 wonderful years of life and she will be missed.

Life’s journey for Shelia Arnetta Paige Smoot began on Saturday, September 28, 1963 in Thomasville, North Carolina. She was born to the late Palmer Paige and the late Mildred Maxwell Paige. She received her early education in Davidson County school system with the Class of 1982. She was married to late Harry L. Smoot, Jr. whom God called home in 2017.

Shelia worked as a Certified Nursing Assistance for over 40 years, throughout the Triad areas. She enjoyed cooking, dancing and entertaining. Family and friends will miss her outgoing personality and love for life.
