The Obituary
James Earl Pullin the son of late Wade Green, Jr and Jimmie Lou Pullin was born on August 14, 1959 in Thomasville, North Carolina. On November 12, 2019, the Lord whispered “James” come home. James was born and raised in Thomasville, NC. He attended and graduated from Thomasville Senior High School with the class of 1979. He was a member of Park Place Baptist Church where he loved to sing loud and proud the songs of Zion.
James was loving and jovial person. He loved playing cards and board games, working in his flower garden and cooking his famous burgers, chicken and ribs on the grill. Family and friends will never forget his grill master skills.
To know James was to love James. He was known as a historian,an avid reader and snappy dresser (especially his hats). Although he was a straight forward person he was very dependable. Always willing to help others and working on project. He was also enjoyed watching sports. His favorite teams were the Duke “ Blue Devils” and Washington “Redskins”.
James was proceeded in death by his parents, one sister, Gwendolyn Kennedy and three brothers, James Junious, Jerry Pullin and Mitchell Pullin.
James leaves to cherish his memories to his two sons, Antonio “Tony” Pullin and Antonio “Gregory” Pullin both of the home, one daughter, Tabitha Pullin of Thomasville, NC; six sisters, Joyce Gordon, Barbara (Albertis) Pugh, Carol Pullin, Thomasine Morris, Annie Mae Little all of Thomasville, NC and Helen Wilson of Rosedale, NY; four brothers, William “Lil June” (Elaine) Epps, Lester “Zippy” Epps and William Junious all of Thomasville, NC and Jerome Epps of Highpoint, NC, two best friends, Trish Hughes and Shirley Hill and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
