Life’s Journey
Life’s journey for Brenda Louise Suber began on November 4, 1949 in Newberry, South Carolina. She was born to John Odell Suber and the late Margaret Miller Suber. Life’s journey for Brenda came to a quiet and peaceful closure on January 19, 2020.
Faithfully planted in the Lord, Brenda accepted Christ as her Savior. She attended Brown New Calvary Baptist Church and loved going to Tuesday Bible Study.
Brenda attended Davidson County school system, graduating with class of 1967 from Church Street School. She continue her education, receiving her Bachelor of Science in Sociology. Brenda was a successful homemaker, which extended outside of her home. She enjoyed cooking, her specialties were endless, from macaroni and cheese to red velvet cake. God gave Brenda the gift of giving, she would help anyone in need. She enjoyed traveling. Her favorite pastime was watching her favorite shows: Jeopardy and the Have and the Have Nots, she loved anything by Tyler Perry. Her family and friends will miss her outspoken and vibrant spirit around the community of Thomasville.
In addition to her mother, Brenda was preceded in death by her only son, Curtis Dewayne Suber; one brother, Curtis Odell Suber; and two sisters: Daisy Stallings and Paulette Farabee. Surviving to cherish her precious memories are three sisters; Delmar Thompson (Gerald), Sylvia Farabee, and Conji Hare all of Thomasville, NC, one brother; Walter Farabee (Lulu ) of Thomasville, NC, her best neighbor, Anita Horton, two special friends Annabelle Ruff and Inez Craddock, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
