Life’s earthly journey for Christopher Wayne Pratt began on November 15, 1959 in High Point, North Carolina to Doris Stevenson Pratt and the late Edward Sylvester Pratt. On Wednesday, June 3, 2020, Christopher transitioned from this earthly life to life eternal.
Christopher attended the Davidson County school system in Thomasville, North Carolina with class of 1977. He was a member of Brown New Calvary Baptist Church. He was employed as a long distance truck driver. This allowed his to do what he loved, traveling and meeting people.
Friends and family will fondly remember Christopher a very outgoing person who enjoyed the company of close friends and family. Entertaining them with his stories of his travels, watching sports, playing spades and listen to music; especially gospel music is how he loved to spend his time. He loved socializing and always found a way to gather between his trips.
Christopher was proceeded in death by his father, and brother, Glenn Pratt.
He leaves a legacy of love to his children Nakira Baxter and Christopher Baxter both of Thomasville, NC, a beloved mother, Doris Stevenson Pratt of Thomasville, NC, one sister, Karen Pratt of Durham, NC, three nieces, Shaunte’ Parker and Khadisah Mouten both of Seattle, WA, and Khadijah Pratt of Raleigh, NC , and a host of aunts, uncles other relatives and friends.
