Obituary

Friday morning, July 2, 2020, Ronny Lee Borden answered the Masters Call earning his wings and joining the Hallelujah Band.

On July 31, 1959, Ronny Lee Borden “Will I Run”, “Fred” was the second twin son born to the late James and Hazeleene Little Borden in Thomasville, N.C. Ronny was a graduate of Thomasville Senior High with the class of 1978 and a member of Thomasville Bulldogs. Ronny was employed at Thomasville Furniture Industries, Plant C for 20 year. He was also employed by Berkline Furniture until his health failed. Ronny loved to cook, fish and DJ all parties in the Hollow.

He is preceded in death by his parents Rev. James and Mother Hazeleene Borden.

Surviving to cherish his memories are two sons, Anatoly Rosula (Shaunte) Love, of Concord, NC and Calvin Owens of Winston Salem, NC. Two grandchildren, Samari Ashanti-Irie, and Jontez Asheem Love. Three brothers, his twin brother, Johnny Lee Borden of the home, Will F. Borden and Anthony F. (Michelle) Borden, both of Thomasville, NC, three sisters, Josephine Borden of Hillsborough, NC, Minerva L. Jenkins of Springtown, TX, and Virginia M. Borden of Thomasville, NC, an adopted brother, Lewis McLendon; three uncles, George L., Luther, Julius (Jenny) Borden of Polkton, NC and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
