Obituary
Mrs. Aileene Turner Goodman was born in Troy, North Carolina on February 15, 1941, to Beatrice Little Turner Young and Craven Turner, Sr. She was reared in Norwood, North Carolina by Lucy Turner Lindsey and Robert L. Lindsey. She graduated from Kingsville High School in Albermarle, North Carolina in 1959. Anyone who knew Aileene, knew she loved to cook, fish and dance!
Her heavenly journey began on Friday, November 13, 2020, at Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center. Aileene was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Goodman; both sets of parents; her three brothers, James P. Young, John F. Worth and Marven Turner; three sisters, Sarah Addington, Sandra Penniegraft and Harriet Parsons.
Aileene is survived by her daughter, Ethel (Johnny) Turner Kennedy; her son, Raymond Edward Goodman, one stepson, Danny Eigner; three grandchildren; Andria Nichole Turner, Tara (Valerie) Rochelle Dow, Ashley Delaine Canty; four great-grandchildren; Radyant Symone Turner, Austin DeAndre Saunders, Brandon Jerrod Saunders, and Ethen Malik Turner; one brother, Craven Turner, Jr.; one sister, Brenda (Charles) Davidson; one special friend, Larry Kennedy along with a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
