The Obituary
Isaac Junior Bosier was born on March 13, 1948 in Summerton, South Carolina to the proud parents of the late Isaac Bosier Sr. and Mary Dow Bosier. Isaac was taught and educated within the Clarendon county school system. While attending Scott Branch High School he was also a school bus driver along with his brothers and friends. In 1965, shortly after high school Isaac moved to Thomasville, North Carolina. He quickly gain employment at Masonite as a paint coordinator supervisor, and worked there happily for 37 years.
Isaac was blessed to find the love of his life in Thomasville, and on November 14, 1970 he married Thelma Hines. Together in this union they have been in wedded bliss and adventure for 51 years.
Isaac had many nicknames, friends knew him as “IJ” and his family recognized him as “Boot,” no matter which name you called him he would always be there for you. He was a family man and loved his family with all his heart, especially when it came to his grandchildren. Isaac enjoyed washing cars, cutting grass, watching football and fishing shows to get new tips, but most importantly he absolutely cherished going fishing. If he could spend all his days on the water to fish he would. Isaac gave great definition to the titles as husband, father, brother, son and friend. He was a grand advocate for young people and helped them try to get a job at his place of work. Also he loved going and participating at his brother’s church. Isaac had a phenomenal spirit and his spirit will continue to live on through his family and friends.
On Tuesday, June 22, 2021, Isaac heard God’s voice say to him, “well done my good and faithful servant” and ascended him into Heaven’s to be at home at last.
Isaac was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Glencient Mashore and one brother Frank Bosier.
Leaving to treasure his fond memories is his wife Thelma Bosier of the home; one daughter, Pamela Clay of Thomasville, NC; two son, Derrick Hines of Thomasville, NC and Brian (Temco) Bosier of Durham, NC; twelve grandchildren; and four great grandchildren; one sister, Mary (Jonas) Matthews of High Point, NC; five brothers, John (Wilhemena) Bosier of High Point, NC, James (Susie Mae) Bosier of Thomasville, NC, Leroy Bosier of Summerton, SC, Rev.
