Obituary
On February 11, 2021, angels rejoiced as James Henry Wrenwick received his wings and entered into heaven.
John Henry was born on November 1, 1946 in Thomasville, North Carolina to the late Mitchell and Hattie Mae Kenner Wrenwick. John Henry attended Thomasville City school system; he graduated with the Class of 1965 from Church Street School. After high school he enlisted in the United States of America Air Force. He gratefully served our country for four years and received a honorable discharge. He returned back to Thomasville and worked for Rex Plastic and Thomasville Furniture Industry.
John Henry was a proud member of Central United Methodist Church where he served on the Finance Board, Methodist Men Ministry and several choirs.
Family and friends will remember John Henry as an outgoing person, who never meet a stranger. He loved everyone and everyone loved him. His pleasure was helping others. During his leisure time John Henry enjoyed fishing, BINGO, cross-word puzzles, dancing, watching TV, especially; cooking shows and sports. John Henry also loved cooking. John Henry will be missed by all!
John Henry was proceeded in death by his parents, and his brother, James Reid.

Surviving to cherish precious memories are his sisters, Carrie Johnson and Mary Johnson both of Thomasville, NC, four nieces, Sandra Sligh of Thomasville, Gloria (Larry) Sturtevant of East Spencer, NC, Vicki (Rev. Jimmy) Moore of Lexington, NC, and Angelia Tobe of Wadesboro, NC three nephews, Tony Clemmons of Los Angles, CA, Quinzel Lindsay of High Point, NC and Dale Reid of Lexington, NC, a special niece, Brenda Steed and a host of great– nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
