Her Legacy

He who dwells in the shelter of the most high will abide in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say to the lord “my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust. Psalms 91: 1-2

As the roll was called, Mrs. Lucille Stukes Green was called home to rest in the heavens on March 13, 2022. Another angel was granted wings to fly.

Lucille was born in Clarendon County South Carolina to her loving parents, Rev. Joseph Stukes, Sr. and the late Mrs. Earnestine J. Stukes, on May 7,1961. She moved to Thomasville, NC at a young age. She was a member of Thomasville Senior High, class of 1979. She also obtained an accounting diploma from Ashmore Business School in 1981. Lucille’s professional career began at High Point Bank & Trust lasting over 20 years. Lucille was also owner of A. S. & G. E., a tax preparation service, for over 40 years.

Lucille’s Christian journey began at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church of Thomasville. She transferred her membership to Christian Fellowship Word of God Church.

Lucille was well known for her craft projects, knitting, interior design, jewelry design, wood working, and shopping.

We are grateful for the time we had with her. We will never forget Lucille’s energetic and outgoing personality and her everlasting love for her family. ‘Heyyyyy”
