Obituary
On July 21, 2022, God dispatched an angel for his servant, Myer William Lindsay to enter into heaven. Myer was born to the late Edward and Florine Lowery Lindsay on November 27, 1951 in Thomasville, North Carolina.
Myer was a graduate from the first integrated class of 1969, from Thomasville Senior High School in Thomasville, NC. Most of his professional career he was employed with Masonite, Inc. Component Concepts. Determined to maintain security for his family he began to invest into Real Estate and became successful.
Miles as he was affectionately called by family and friends will be remembered as a devoted family man; who loved his belated wife Bernice Lindsay, his children and grandchildren. Fond memories of Miles will forever last in our memories as spending countless hours in his yard talking to family and friends. He also enjoyed sports, going fishing, watching old cowboy movies and taking care of his cars. Miles received his spiritual guidance from Emmanuel Baptist Church, where he was a faithful member.
Miles was proceeded in death by his parents, wife, Bernice Lindsay; his son, Michael Lindsay; three brothers, Gregory Lindsay, Reginald Lindsay, and Marshall Lindsay, Jr.
Miles leaves to cherish his precious memories to his son, Stephen (Portia) Lindsay of Simpsonville, SC, his daughter, Angela McCauley of High Point, NC; five grandchildren, Jonathan, Tyrone, Sean Carter and Holland, one great grandchild Tauren; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
