Obituary

On September 3, 1965 Mary Crosby and the late Wade Brown gave birth to their son, Wade Tyrone Moore in Lexington, NC to begin his earthly journey. For fifty-seven years Tyrone dedicated his life to serve others. He gave his unlimited time and talents to serve others with compassion and dignity. On June 21, 2023 he began his heavenly journey.

Tyrone received his formal education from the Lexington County school system graduating with the Class of 1983 from Lexington High School in Lexington, NC. Full of talent he played football and basketball. In 1989 he joined United States Navy and served our country for nine years. He received the National Defense Service Medal, Pistol Sharpshooter, Naval Reserve Sea Service Deployment Ribbon, First Good Conduct Medal, and Naval Modular Automated Communications System Accreditations.

Ensuring he could provide for his family, Tyrone worked as a postal mail carrier with the Postal service. He was very family oriented who enjoyed karaoke and reading. An intelligent man, full of useful knowledge and willing to share his knowledge to help others. Serving as a pillar in his community to assist everyone. He was a mechanic, service technician, transporter, advisor and a prayer warrior. Tyrone was a man of honor.

He was proceeded in death by his daughter Zelphia Freeman, grand-daughter Taleya Paris, Sister Courtney Brown, his fathers, Wade Brown and Surphone Moore, grandparents Samuel and Mamie McIntosh along with other family members.

He leaves to cherish his memories to his wife Misty Moore of Canada, his daughters, Kristen Paris of Canada; Antionette (Reynaldo) Levy of Atlanta, GA, Dontressa Barfield-Moore of Tampa, Fla., his sons Quinton Paris and Tharron Paris both of Canada, his mother Mary (David) Crosby, his sisters, Gloria Blakeney of Lexington, NC and Stephaine Brown of Mt. Aire, NC, a brother Reginald Brown of Convey, GA; 13 grandchildren, niece LaBeam Moore, nephew Mario Moore, great nieces, great nephews, aunts; Patricia, Paulette, Rosa, Mae, Katherine and Angela; uncles, Albert, Steve, Robert, David, Hollis. He also leaves to cherish his extended family Patricia Dye, Robbie, Anna and Carol McCandis, Lisa Rogers and a host of other relatives and friends.
