Obituary

Wick Blair Jr. was born in Thomasville, North Carolina on August 9, 1943. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wick Sr. and Lizzie Mae Blair.

He was educated by his sister and the Davidson County School system which led him to graduate from Church Street School. After graduating from Church Street School Wick went on to attend Davidson Community College.

Wick was a comedian. He even landed a role in the movie, Critical Condition in 1987 that featured Richard Pryor; his acting inspirations came from his favorite actors, Marilyn Monroe, Quincy Jones, and Diana Ross. Wick’s favorite hobbies were reading, going to the library and dancing. He loved dancing so much that he taught a disco inferno classes in 1978 at the YMCA with his sister Chareline. Wick was adored and admired especially by his sisters. He loved people and everyone loved him

He was also preceded in death by his three sisters, Sharon Blair, Chareline Cain and Bernadette Young.

Wick leaves to cherish his memories to his long distance sister, Reola Hall of St. Louis, MO, a special niece Stacy (Greg) Johnson of Thomasville, NC , three nephews, Omar (Teresa) Blair, Tracy (Arlene) Blair , and Michael Freeman, and a host of great nieces, great nephews, cousins, and other relatives, and friends.
