Obituary

Lola Mae Marsh was born on February 14, 1952 in Monroe, North Carolina to the late Martha Ashcraft Marsh and Roy Brewer. She received some of her education in the city of Philadelphia.

She furthered her education at Brookstone Collage where she received her Associates Degree in business.

Lola was a long time member at Cornerstone Church of Christ in the city of Thomasville, North Carolina.

Lola Mae loved to sing and to hear singing. She loved to sew and was vert family oriented. She was a giver, a great family advisor, she loved hard and had a BIG heart for others. Lola was also one we would consider the "glue" of the family. Lola was a motivator, promise keeper, encourager, nourisher, disciplinarian and a softee to her grandchildren and her son. Most of all, Lola was a woman who prayed and loved her God.

In her spare time, she loved watching game shows, western movies, playing spades and she would consider herself a lover of history.

Lola Mae was preceded in death by her partner, Jerry Click and one beloved sister Libby Ann Marsh. She leaves to cherish her precious memories to her children; Aquanda Marsh, Zikia (Kareem) Grant, and Jervarious Marsh, all of Thomasville, NC. Two grandchildren; Skyah Grant and Kareem (Jamel) Grant. Her beloved sisters; Deborah (Archie) Izzard of Thomasville, NC, Bernice (Tony) Rogers of Thomasville, NC, Daisy Clyburn, Jearline (Albert) Hammond of Marshville, NC and one brother, Ricky Marsh of Charlotte, NC. A host of nieces, cousins, nephews and two close friends; Mary Saunders and Carolyn Dayis.
